Madras® etched satin-finish glass creates surfaces with a new expressivity, that of functional design, a dual concept in which form and function are perfectly balanced.
As can be seen in the Madras® Lineari collection: the linear form accenting the perspective of vertical elements such as doors and partitions combines with the function of separating spaces, guaranteeing luminosity and an intriguing interaction of volumes thanks to the fineness of a texture that diffuses and refracts light with extraordinary delicacy.

Plissé, the latest glass for all vertical surfaces, indoors and out, that delimit and enliven spaces with light. Its surface is covered with narrow ribbing softened by a veil of special, inimitable Madras® satin finish to soften the chill reverberation of naked glass, rendering it opalescent and anti-fingerprint. The result is more than a new linear pattern satin glass. Plissé is a unique visual and tactile sensation. The ribbing generates a sort of optical dynamism perceptible when you move, while the special satin finish makes the surface extremely pleasant to touch.
Thanks to its physical conformation and special Madras® satin finish, Plissé effectively blurs vision. This makes it ideal for doors and shower cabins and for partitioning, as in bathroom zones in hotel rooms or kitchen zones in living rooms. Such spaces will be lit by the same sources of natural light as the main room but won’t be “on display” because Plissé shields them from view.
Plissé is also ideal in doors and storage units because its “dynamic” surface is extremely pleasing to touch, as well as being anti-fingerprint, thanks to its special veil of Madras® satin finish, an effective shield protecting privacy in internal spaces. Thanks to this fineness of texture, it’s also very easy to clean. And its beauty reaches even farther across time.
Plissé is produced in 2000 x 3210 mm plates, clear colour, 4, 6 and 8 mm thick. The ribbing runs parallel to the 3,210 mm side. It can be tempered.
