Glass walls
Pixel Gradient:
the new glass for walls
that screen
without isolating.
Service sector offices and places open to the public in general often need to provide for both privacy and visual interconnection between one space and another.
Madras® Pixel Gradient glass for screening partitions is the latest solution: it has a pattern of progressively sized transparent dots forming gradients of vision (design by architect Ivo Pellegri). This pattern is on a background rendered opaque by the exclusive Madras® satin finish techniques: perfectly smooth and nice to touch and see thanks to the Madras® satin finish that makes the difference in terms of luminosity, unalterability over time and ease of maintenance.

Progressive satin-finish Madras® Pixel Gradient meets the need for interaction between personnel whilst safeguarding the privacy of those sitting at their desks.

With its minimalist geometrical simplicity, Pixel Gradient’s design makes it a technical glass that integrates seamlessly with the best modular partitioning systems and without any aesthetic overstatement. Thanks to the increasing clarity of vision towards the floor and ceiling in fact, the pattern ensures that spaces are luminous and partitions are visually soft. While the progressive screening effect in the middle impedes vision where necessary to provide total privacy but not isolation.

So Pixel Gradient gives us a comforting sensation of privacy but also enables us to see who’s on the other side of the glass delimiting our space.
Lastly, installed in LED lit architectural structures, Pixel Gradient is particularly attractive in the dark, because the light transmitted on the inside of the glass points up the gradients in its texture.
